Planning for the 2008 Tiburon Art Festival is well underway! The event will be held on August 23 and 24. The Call to Artists will be going out in the next couple of weeks. The website will be up and running soon – flyers, brochures, sign-up sheets, call for volunteers, assignments, committee meetings, and other fun things are coming up!
For now, it’s just a note for you to mark your calendars and plan to attend this incredible event. This will be the event’s 2nd year and it is anticipated that it will be bigger and better than the 1st year!
For those that missed out on the chance to be involved at the ground level with organizing last year’s event – there’s still time to get on board this year! The organizing committee is still forming and looking for volunteers to help fill some key roles – they could be filled by you!
If you are interested in volunteering or are interested in serving on any of the numerous event committees – let the Town of Tiburon know and they can get you in early!
Meanwhile, mark your calendars and plan to attend this outstanding community event! Look for more information on the City, Town, and Chamber websites and watch your E-Network for a call for volunteers. Pass the word!
